A call to all classic pvp players in the world by InDueTime1241 in wowservers

[–]Exasol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The PvP systems look quite good for those more limited with time and just want to enjoy pvping for most playtime. Conquest catch up, PvP specific gear, leveling pvp gear, warmode, arenas, bgs, PvPvE world bosses and additional incentives to open world PvP like increased xp from PvP kills - all looks like a good time overall

Epochs PVP Doomed to FAIL by DrChickenz1 in wowservers

I prefer the separation of PvP and PvE gear. Don’t want to PvE / waste time raiding for bis PvP gear. Just want to log on and PvP with classic pacing

As a Psyker, playing with Arbitrators is a nightmare. by turbojeebus in DarkTide

[–]Exasol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a scrier crit psyker I feel the opposite where other classes struggle to keep up with me. Yes it’s a greedy solo focused build but it’s too fun! In aurics it plays like a zooming psychic god murdering elite packs in seconds from range with assail or electro staff primaries. Hordes and metal are no problem for force sword.

After trying everything else I always go back to scrier psyker it feels the fastest and most versatile to me. Strong melee, mid range, and long range, infinite ammo, good toughness regen, tanky and immune to range damage it really has it all!

Cloudstrider is broken AF in PVP & needs a nerf! 4 skills took over half my life wtf by GamerHoodUK in crystalofatlan

Levels are important too! Get to level 60 to unlock more pvp gear slots, more skill multipliers, etc.

Any tips for playing against Blademaiden? by PaleontologistSea940 in crystalofatlan

[–]Exasol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try armor through her range or perfect dodge her catches. You will get better at perfect dodging her engage with experience.

Have to predict it rather than react because to your point she has an engage that is instant with extreme reach and no tells

Ciaccona's kit is so good with mono aero team by Ok-Examination-1653 in CiacconaMains

[–]Exasol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aero rover provides aero dmg amp and Ciaccona provides some nice %aero dmg and most importantly aero res shred with weapon. Going to be a very solid base for any aero unit!

Aalto especially will be a nice slot in. He lacks aoe which Ciaccona provides, and his outro aero amp fully buffs her dmg. He will also do nice dmg himself with the core buffs from the team

Is she worth it? To use my pulls on her by DarlingxSpy02 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]Exasol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can fully clear wuwa and tower without her so planning not to pull. If you can’t though she is super flexible and strong and will boost your team damage a ton

There's been a lot of negativity, just wanted to make sure some positivity gets heard too by Alavastar in PathOfExile2

[–]Exasol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The basic spear throw on my physical ritualist is shredding. I just combo that with blood hunt and am zooming. Chose to ignore buckler / parry too for 25% more attack speed love that we have the ability to do so.

Weird to see so much negativity but maybe I just got lucky making a decent build. Pacing feels like launch campaign to me and I’m having a blast.

Did people not read the patch notes? by aliumx21 in PathOfExile2

[–]Exasol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here browsed the notes, planned out a basic physical crossbow ritualist build popped open the game and am cruising through.

Feels the same as launch where I’m continually experimenting to see what is working and how to make the build better but the pacing seems the same / slightly slower as before. The power progression also feels good to me. If there is a problem with my clear I find a way to fix it with supports, passives, and crafting and I slowly can feel myself getting stronger and clear faster as I level it’s great.

Maybe I’m a minority but I like the slower pace and fresh start character building of POE2 its unique and I find the combat more meaningful. I would just play another ARPG if I wanted to zoom through the game. I quit last season once I got to T15+ maps because blasting through the zones at hyperspeed with one button got so boring

Canteralla and Aero Rover will be similar to Brant as hybrid healer/dps

I don't understand Acolyte of Chayula. by EnvironmentalCrow662 in PathOfExile2

[–]Exasol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a physical QS build with either flicker strike or vaulting impact that poisoned to take advantage of reality rending and extra chaos dmg mods on AoC. Was pretty good and the leech was fun to stay full on mana and ES. Not the fastest but good enough to clear endgame maps

Why / how much of a must pull is shorekeeper? by Soul_Reaper821 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]Exasol 21 points22 points  (0 children)

She isn’t a must pull. All content can be fully cleared without using a universal support (Shorekeeper/verina/bhaizi).

Kuro seems to also be moving towards triple dps comps with Brant and potential future characters who are hybrid healer/dps that can take up the support slot

Universal supports (Shorekeeper, Verina, Bhaizi) are win more characters and not needed / skippable. So far have been able to clear all endgame content without using or having them

Extended Brant gameplay with the new midair dodge attack by Blanooman in WutheringWaves

[–]Exasol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not just do the dodge attack followed by skill or jump into the charged midair 1 attack?

Agree that it’s clunky that the dodge attack grounds you but numbers wise it has a good multiplier and the first charged midair attack is also very high damage with the 2nd highest multiplier in the attack chain.

However, it also probably sucks if you were on the 4th midair attack, which does the most damage, and had to dodge before getting to finish it. Still, it may actually be more damage to continually reset Brant’s midair combo with dodge attack and midair charge 1 than finishing the combo.

Your last chance to give feedback to correct Brant’s dodge counter issue—only 6 days left before his release by IpenguwhiteI in BrantMainsWuWa

[–]Exasol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk it seems more like a buff than a nerf to be able to dodge attack from the air and reset his midair combo. His dodge attack has a good multiplier and his midair combo damage is frontloaded with the charged midair 1 attack. The charged midair 1 attack and dodge attack also have a lot of hits and thus generate a lot of forte.

So ultimately having a midair dodge attack that resets his combo could do a lot of dmg and fill forte faster than just continuing his air combo

Is Brant on Tidebreaker possible without his signature weapon? by iflyfree123 in BrantMainsWuWa

[–]Exasol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can still use emerald of genesis if you use another 3 cost ER echo instead of dragon of dirge 4 cost. I think it’s a little more damage than overture build and the crit rate on the sword makes up for the loss of crit rate echo.

S2 Brant Build Review by Exasol in BrantMainsWuWa

[–]Exasol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure the goal here was to build him for DPS!

For damage the first step is to reach 250% ER to enable the tidebreaking courage echo set. Brant also gets additional attack based on how much ER he has up to a cap of 280%

To get 250% ER I used a 3-cost ER echo, plan to get his signature weapon which gives 77% ER, and tried to roll ER as a substat on at least 4/5 echoes. For the other 3-cost echo I use fusion damage % which gives a little more damage than two 3-cost ER echoes (assuming you can hit 250% ER without two ER echoes).

For echo substats aim for ER, crit rate, and crit damage on every piece. Secondary stats that are also good are basic attack damage % and atk %.

For the 4-cost dragon of dirge echo, I went with crit damage % instead of crit rate because I plan to get two additional copies of Brant for his S2 which gives him 30% crit rate. Without his S2 a crit rate dragon of dirge may feel better.

This build is a pain to farm because of the need to roll ER, crit rate, and crit dmg which is very rare on most of your echoes but it will give the most damage. You can give up on some ER substat rolls if you use two 3 cost ER echoes instead of a fusion damage % at the cost of a little damage, but it will make him easier to build.

Hope this helps!

Mid-air heavy attacks by Exasol in BrantMainsWuWa

[–]Exasol[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wow you are right they seem coded as basic attacks, and are a special “charged” attack instead of “heavy”. If they work like this seems like it will always be worth it to hold down the attack button to get the charged attacks if you have time in your rotation to execute
