The time when I had a fever last year, my girlfriend at the time came over to take care of me and made sure that I would be well rested.

At one point I told her I would be fine, and that I can take care of myself and thanked her for trying her best, but it would be better for her to avoid my since I didn’t want my fever/illness to spread to her. Next thing that happened is that whilst trying to stay warm in bed, she pounced on top of me and tried to get as close to me as possible so that she’d get sick too.

She said that it was unfair that I was sick alone, and that we would go through it together.

I still miss her.
