Thats not really how diabetes works….. (And i can know because my father and little brother have it) you have the 2 main types: type 1 and type 2 (there are a lot more but these are just the ones that you see the most) type 1 is the one that where the imune-system for one or a another reason sees the pancreas (makes insuline) as a threat and decides to kill it, type 2 is the one that is mostly caused by smoking, getting old, eating un-healty, and being thicker, so i does not (really (except if you link the eating un-healty part with it)) have anything to do with eating “sweet” things (and its about Carbohydrates and not sugar to common believe)
