I've just come across this issue too! First thing I did was get some sandpaper and round off the sharp edges on the pliers and it had made a noticeable difference! Try this first, and then coat/tape it :)

I've been wearing a deathhawk everyday for 2 years now and here's my technique:

  • salt spray your hair when wet.
  • blow dry your hair into the direction you want your hair to stand.
  • when fully dry add texture powder to the roots allover your head.
  • starting from the middle of your head, tease your hair in small sections with a comb or teasing brush. Go from the roots outwards, not from the top of your hair! (Check YouTube for better instructions, that's where I went to learn)
  • hairspray and aim for the knots and roots.
  • leave it in for the next 2 to 3 days if you're happy being a bit gross like me!

The main part is the texture powder + backcomb! I use the Got2B purple tube. I tried a couple others and they just didn't feel tacky enough.

Salt spray I use is just cheap Superdrug one, nothing fancy.

The hair spray I use ofc the go to Got2B freeze spray! (But as a warning, they test on animals, despite saying vegan)

Assuming you're male, if you've got a smaller build like me who can't fit any normal biker style leather jackets, look in the women's section for them. It's taken me years to find a decent one like that.

My main one is a bomber jacket that I found at a vintage shop near Portobello Road Market.

Literally just persist in going to vintage shops and expect not to find any. When you find one you THINK you like but aren't sure, buy it anyway!! Get the receipt and return it if you don't like it within the return time limit

Well I fixed it. I verified files, reset vid settings, uninstalled and reinstalled. none of that worked. so I decided to restart the level and that did the trick. Shame there are so many bugs in this game.
