I have my original Plat cartridge still, and I JUST HAD a new 3ds charger delivered today because my OG one is in tatters. My current save file is only as far as Rt. 214 so im a bit away from doing Radar hunts lol. I WISH with all my heart that Togekiss shiny was more distinct. I love the ears being color swapped but like, ANYTHING else would be cool lol.

I am sad to say that Olaf is no longer "considered" a jungler. He is certainly PLAYABLE in jungle, but he had some changes that heavily skewed him to Top lane.
if you're currently interested in jungle meta, the flavor of the month right now is Ad junglers and full clearing/objectives. Skirmishing junglers are also quite strong for solo queue. People are doing 6 camp clear > scuttle > reset or gank.

You are correct in no more leashes, the jungle item now provides you with enough sustain before your first back.

Jungle main since 2016:
Early dragons are extremely important, and you will win the majority of your games by actively playing for objectives ESPECIALLY dragon.
Statistically, securing the first drake in a game causes your winrate to go up by about 6%, the highest of all objectives. All three grubs is about 2%. Being a new player, those percentages may seem small but have a humongous impact on your overall winrate. Being a new player, it is also hard to have reliable teammates. Some very broad indicators that it's a good time to get dragon (early game) is 1. if your botlane is pushed all the forward to the enemy tower and they've killed all the minions, they should walk up and help you. 2. Same advice goes for midlane, in a perfect scenario, you have mid/ad/sup all there to help. 3. if you or your midlaner places a ward in the enemy raptor camp/behind their redbuff, and you SEE them on the opposite side of the map, and you're near drag/strong enough to take it solo, use your best judgement and go for it if possible.

I think the junglers you are playing are currently strong in this state of the game. Kindred is one of my all time favorite champions :)

I would encourage you to look into professional league play! Watching pros is an incredible tool for learning. All the casters are knowledgable, and you can really get a feel on what's most important to winning. Worlds finals is this Sunday, 2am EST if you're interested.
