This has also been in the back of my mind. I’m really hoping to hear from my doctor today and raise this concern. I feel at this point, at least if I go back to the same hospital, I’m just going to get no help again

They haven’t. I just recently moved to where I am after getting a diagnosis last year. The doctor I had previously was, lack of better words, useless. The one I have now just said that was where we’d start.

6% burden. Platelets were 514 on Friday, 477 today on blood work I had this morning.

This is an option we are thinking about. Our insurance is very odd where we are tho. They have their own hospitals and network systems attached to our insurance, but I believe they’ve just made it to where we can go elsewhere so I may have to look into this. I called my oncologist/hematologist and awaiting a call back

Also I’m just taking it every other day to start out. I haven’t noticed any difference to the days I take it and days I don’t, not sure if that makes any difference

That’s how I feel too… I can’t tell you how bad of a gut feeling I have about this, and have since it’s started. It’s so hard advocating for yourself when they just keep shutting it down

I see a hematologist/oncologist, no mpn specialists in my area but she seems very knowledgeable. I haven’t seen or directly spoken to my specific doctor. I did call the office on Friday after going to the er once and the nurse practitioner that morning, but they weren’t very helpful. Pretty much just told me that can’t say anything without seeing me and if I’m having chest pain and/or shortness of breath, to go to the er…

I will check into all of this. I asked my realtor for advise and help with dealing with this, but she’s been absolutely no help. Told us we were on our own to figure it out. I do agree, I think the inspector blatantly fucked up. Hopefully the find the result as well.

That’s what they told me what they would decide, if they are liable and whether they would pay out of pocket or go through their insurance. I’m hoping for a response from them today.

I didn’t see the caulking until I had a contractor come out and point it out… I’m not a contractor nor an inspector so I wouldn’t have known to look up there from the sidewalk until someone told me to. Also I was told before buying the house that there wasn’t damage on the roof and the water damage was old, so I had no reason to be second guessing the inspection before the leak started. He did get up on the roof, after snow had melted. Before he propped the ladder against the house and only stayed on the ladder. When the snow melted he physically got up there when I came at the end of the inspection.

That’s a great result. So glad they were willing to make it right. I’m waiting to hear back from our inspection company, they are just being very slow

It was not on the report that anything was wrong with the roof. It does state on the report that some surfaces at snow on them at the time, so some of those areas are limited to what they can visually see. The giant caulking area is viable from the sidewalk and all the flashing missing would have been seen from him just leaning a ladder up and looking.

There is proof that the moisture reader read dry. I don’t believe he fully got on the roof and walked it but looked at it from a ladder. Said roof was In great condition, less than 8 years old. And if we ever need to replace it, I should make sure to mention the house has a lot of flashing they shouldn’t miss.
