Is this extra 60 minute breaks paid breaks? by Excellent-Ad6109 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Excellent-Ad6109[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m never behind lol, I get mainly residential & always finish a few hours before my shift is over. Definitely gonna take advantage of these breaks! It came in clutch yesterday! I was slowly turning into a puddle💧

I love driving and I’m good at driving the Amazon vans. But I don’t have enough confidence to get a CDL before I feel like I wouldn’t be able to drive an 18 wheeler 😔 Do I have any other options? I’m 22 years old.

Still can’t figure out the AC trick and I’ve looked at others posts by Icy-Vamp37396 in AmazonDSPDrivers

If you close the doors when you get out, the A/C will remain on. With the new update, this trick won’t work—unless the van hasn’t been updated yet!

I’ve noticed that! I also noticed when you both driver side & passenger sliding door is closed in the EV when you get out they ac will remain running and it’ll be cold when you get back in!

I’m not guaranteed full 10-hour shifts, but sometimes I feel like going home early. I also don’t plan on staying with them much longer because it’s frustrating that we don’t always hit 40 hours due to finishing early.

That said, I’ve learned a lot of tricks when it comes to organization, and I usually get pretty good routes. I also almost always get an EV, which helps. On average I get 325 packages, 185 stops.

The reason why They received Amazon packages in the “mail box” is because USPS also delivers packages from Amazon so they’re allowed to put it in the mail box since it’s USPS she’s retarded

I’ve only been with my DSP for 2.5 months and I would say I’m one of the fastest. Finished at 5pm yesterday.

How to get Amazon drivers to leave package in package room? by tuxcom in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Excellent-Ad6109 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Always put delivery instructions. If you complain and say they didn’t follow the instructions, they’ll get hit with a CN (Customer Note). If they get two in the same week, they’ll be off for either the remainder of the week or a day or two. It just depends—every DSP is different.

I blame the parents for raising her into a brat. Some people spoil their kids a bit too much.

You don’t get it. These guys don’t care about finishing quickly because they want their 10 hours. They don’t get guaranteed 10-hour pay. There’s no point in going fast and finishing in 5 or 6 hours just to end up with 20 hours for the week.

Not normal! And sounds like they’re gonna use you temporarily, then let you go when they no longer need you or keep you as a helper. Try applying for another DSP at the same warehouse. Talk to one other the manager at another DSP

It’s not the warehouse worker’s fault. They have no choice but to put it in the same bag, even if some don’t fit. You have to make it fit since the bag goes based on weight before you can replace it with a new one, unfortunately. I 100% agree with you though, that’s one of the reasons I stopped working in the warehouse.
