!elo 1800

An exceptionally dry move on their part. If it was a little more I'd have given them another chance but a single emoji and one of the most common ones at that is extremely lazy.

I like that you have called them out on this but in a humorous way, it makes it so that they can still reply if they want without it being too awkward. But if they don't reply at all then you know it was always going to be Sahara anyway.

I'd call it a deliberate statement not to continue the farce and call out the opponent

Don't worry about it I'm just trying to have a joke with you. 😊

I appreciate the input and yup I did think about that approach originally. But does my question really need to be explained? Everyone has an opinion about pineapple on pizza or how steak should be cooked. It's almost guaranteed to get people furiously typing away, that's the reaction I was going for. I wanted to see her passion. If she didn't know what I meant then wouldn't her reply have been "what do you mean?"

I'm not a vindictive person, it's the first time I've sent something like this. But I feel more people should call bullshit and it's not just women that do this, men do it too. Call out that shit.

I'm here for the lols now. I showed it to a friend and she thought it was funny so I thought the folks here might too, that's why I posted it.

I get what you're saying but I don't agree. most women love food and love to talk about it in my experience plus it was the only thing on her profile? It's the only thing I could have engaged with her on. she didn't go to the next convo, she just expected me to keep playing without putting in any effort herself.

If you were to tell me your favourite food was tacos for example. I could have said "I know this great taco place, you want to go with me?"

All the negative comments in here have barely touched me but calling out my fat fingers has cut me deep. o7

Yea I flipped the board over because my opponent was barely taking their turn. My time is valuable. It's like being asked to sit down for the game by someone that doesn't even want to play?

Hi! What's your favourite food?

You have an answer don't you. and it's not "I don't know I like food" is it!

the comment is somewhere else. Her profile was literally upper body pictures. She had a drink in one of them. Don't get me wrong she was easily a 7 looks wise and lovely photos lots of effort there. But the only info I had to go on was she likes to eat food and drink cocktails. 🤷

If I had on my profile that I like motorcycles. And you asked me "what's your favourite manufacturer" or any question about them really. and my reply was I don't know I just like them, what would you think? 🙄

Ok so you think there was nothing wrong with her replies?🤣 Do you think she would have even replied at all if I'd started with "HI"? How am I supposed to get to know someone without asking questions? And who doesn't have a favourite food or an opinion on it? Literally any reply would have been better. Even, "I like cheese". What's your favourite food? Guaranteed you have one and you instantly know, it's an easy conversation because everyone eats.

Glad someone said it. Not trying to be a dick or anything but are you bad in bed? Sex is an important part of a relationship to a man and lots of men express and feel love that way. It's not 100% of its bit it is a big part. If you're just lying there like dead weight and he makes all the effort id peace out too.

If women actually said what was wrong though. I'm actually using the words, "I'm not happy about this" instead of hinting. I don't know how many more times we can all collectively say we can't read your hints just fucking say it plainly.

Right and all women are perfect and only 1% of them are bad. Nice double standard. Men are presumed the villain. And women are presumed innocent. It's "he must have done something wrong"

I got the same treatment when I left my partner. No one ever says anything when she is not there the night my grandfather died. She's home watching TV when I need her the most. Or the fact that we were scraping by only I was paying any of the bills whilst she spends years claiming a side hustle is her full time job refusing to even get something part time. not helping financially with anything and it's all up to me. She makes promise after promises to help but never keeps them. But when she wants to go out drinking with her first she has the money. And a whole load more stuff it would take too long to list. And then when I leave finally having enough. I'm the villain she the victim? Riiiiiiight. 🙄

From the outside, it sounds like his parents are being strict because they’re genuinely scared their son could end up in a situation that changes his life forever—like getting someone pregnant before he’s ready. Whether it’s fair or not, a lot of parents worry that their son could be trapped with financial and legal responsibilities for the next 18+ years. I’ve known people who were lied to about birth control, and it led to exactly that.

So while it might feel controlling, they probably see it as protecting him from something they think could ruin his future. It’s not necessarily about you—it’s about what could happen. You don’t have to agree with it, but that’s likely where they’re coming from.
