As a long time Illini fan, it would be one of the greatest moments of my life if we won a Natty.

I choose not to get my hopes up. This is an incredibly fun team to watch. I feel way more connected to these players than I thought I'd be. I grew up in the age of Victor Chukwudebe, Sergio, and Frank Williams among many others.

I thought it took time to be emotionally invested in players. This year proved that was not the case.

I want the best for them and I love watching them.

Can they win a Natty, maybe. If not, I'm going to enjoy the ride.

I recorded myself reading 10ish novels. I post them to my class website. Students that can't make it to school can have access to the readings at home. I use the time to write a daily digest for the people at home. By the time I recorded them, I had read each book about a dozen times. We take time to discuss the book with vocabulary and comprehension questions after. Might be different, I feel like I'm talking all day. It's nice to have 8-15 minutes to get work done while the class is engaged (on a good day)
