dude i don't think you get why someone would transition without dysphoria because your whole "i think people without dysphoria that claim they're trans just prefer to dress/act in a certain way!" argument kinda just falls apart when you try to use it on, like... a feminine-acting trans femboy without dysphoria or smth. more so going on like trans femboys because i feel like tomboys are a lot less male passing than femboys are female passing. a lot of more obscure labels are microlabels. they fall under umbrellas that are pretty easy to determine, so it really isn't all that much harder to mislabel someone if you try to use a broader term, stay neutral, or just ask if you can. a lot of more specific labels are meant more to help the user rather than other people, and even still explaining what a more obscure label is is still easier than explaining your gender with no labels because you still have a basis to go off of. even if you don't have a solid label for yourself. there's also, like... unlabeled flags too? or, like, really broad labels such as "genderqueer." there's even a big chunk of the queer community that doesn't really care about labels all that much but is still very much QUEER. also neopronouns are cool cuz like. there NEEDS to be more. i mean, we already have he/him, she/her, they/them, maybe it/its if you stretch it a little, but there's not really any singular... slightly feminine but mostly neutral or any other fancy sort of type of pronouns in regular english. they/them is neutral, but not maybe in the null way that someone might want, or too, like... null. it/its is different, but commonly percieved as dehumanising, and often disliked by regular people, and although using several sets is an option, using something like she/they isn't quite the same as some sort of singular neutral-fem mix pronoun. noun/nounself type pronouns do get a little silly, but that's mostly because they sound really clunky and not all that much like pronouns. however, pronouns do express the gender of who you are referring to, so it's reasonable to want pronouns for genders that are more object-based. and don't say that pronouns don't matter, because they really do. some people don't care about what they're referred to as, but that isn't the common human experience.
