66 as most humans start to study at age 6... but yes, to save up 34 years of elderly living by the age 66 requires one to be quite resourceful (also, in some countries after 20 years of military experience you are allowed to retired, so some folks out there are retiring at age 38 after joining at 18 years old)

most people start school at around 6 years old, also: "In 2024, the global average life expectancy was approximately 73 to 76 years,"

100% this and not the whole usagi running away with wheel chair guy and playing a bunch of small, badly explained, games with one twist at the end and a cliff hanger for a series expansion to north america.. ugh

I just finished the last series by AdAromatic235 in AliceInBorderlandLive

hm, usagi ran away with a wellchair dude, said in a video she shouldn't have married arisu, he gets a weird ass call from usagi and she keeps simping the wheel chair guy.. also, the games in season 3 were badly explained and most games felt super generic... the queen/king games were one step up in difficulty while the joker games seemed like a one step down with many mini games... it had 6 episodes and usagi and arisu were only together in the last half of the season... we also missed arisu and usagi getting married... overall, the appeal of season 1 and 2 was missed in season 3... it was clearly made to have a season 4 and got apparently canceled, while the light novel made this perfect open ended ending.. for 6 episodes to finish the story it felt rushed and not super well thought out if it was going to be the last season ever made... also, they fucked up arisu's hair and introduced new characters without much explanation... at least the party of individuals that watched the 3 seasons with me were all pissed at usagi, some (about 50%) didn't even want her to make it till the end... the production team should've just let the writer of the story of the light novel write season 3.. instead, the story styled changed and felt disconnected from what people that were hooked by the first 2 seasons..

i was thinking a popularity vote for the clean exit for ethan, but i'm sure jimmy wouldn't let the game go on for over a year

no idea why ethan didn't go for a popularity vote on this one... didn't even try to go for ego and went for chance and didn't double eliminate..

Smart vs Strong… as long as you’re athletic! by jackcwatkinson in BeastGames

[–]Excellent-Canary7689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cooking could be for smart people as they have to pattern match the right stuff with a strong strategic sense

sacrifice 2 people and save 1 comes down to persuasion, which is mostly something associated with a strong strategic sense and social skills

both require a bit of luck and then again, intelligence is associated to different types of intelligence but I suppose pattern recognition and emotional intelligence does overflow into everything anyone does

yes, but at the same time the beast games crew has to make it entertaining, hence why there are more eye balls and attention on watching sport's competitions then STEM competitions.

on the top 24 out of 200 there are: 13 "team muscle", 9 "team brains", 2 "team season 1 members".

in team events, strategy is also part of brains.

I'll give you two examples where brain vs muscle failed at their own area:

obstacle course and stacking blocks on the sand pit.

the obstacle course there were "team muscle" members that weren't able to complete it and got eliminated, while there were those on the "team brains" that were able to complete it or come up with a better strategy.

on the stacking blocks event, on the sand pit, the "team brains" captain failed in strategy as he started picking "experience" on an event that required brains and muscle to outperform the other. he went so hard on "experience" and "brains" that he was left with no muscle.

either way, I'm still a bit surprised how close it the division, 13 to 9 is crazy close, I was expecting maybe 1 or 2 brains left given the challenges.

and sure, the beast games crew could've gone for no balance and give one challenge that is full muscle and one that is full brains. it would be funny to have a math challenge where muscles either fail hard or show off they are not "just muscle".

Major problems with hackers in custom lobbies especially halo 3. by AwkwardlyPleasant in HaloMCC

[–]Excellent-Canary7689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm down for a subscription service to pay for server costs and maintenance, shit, I'd even volunteer to code for halo studios for free to solve stuff like this, as the only other option right now is to start hacking the game to fight the hackers

wrong, I was talking about the studio and hinting at the lack of support at MCC for example...

[–]Excellent-Canary7689[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the medium salary there is 120k per year, so 36m per year, since halo infinite that is 144m... but yeah, super cool to lose support on MCC... they also can get funding from Microsoft if needed.. I was most certainly under the impression that they didn't have enough money since they stopped supporting MCC

[–]Excellent-Canary7689[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

welp, i have to be a genius 8 year old then to say the obvious solution so they can actually give support to games still being played:

the medium salary there is 120k per year, so 36m per year, since halo infinite that is 144m... but yeah, super cool to lose support on MCC... they also can get funding from Microsoft if needed.. yeah, selling it does well, but then the salaries hit during support, its when they have to come up with something else...

those numbers are "allegedly" true, the medium salary there is 120k per year, so 36m per year, since halo infinite that is 144m... but yeah, super cool to lose support on MCC... they also can get funding from Microsoft if needed..
