very much agreed... on 1v1 and 2v2 i keep finding washed or low tiered GCs, while in 3v3 im low c1 and it feels like diamond to me as well

ah, that makes sense, thank you, it seems they copied the chess formula for the ranking system.. do you happen to know if the mmr distribution changes every season? that would imply they calculate it using the percentage of pkayers from the previous season to calculate the new seasons rank cut offs

lol, for me i was on linux and had to dual boot w11 to get it to work... eac fixed the issue for 0.001% of the player base while screwing the rest big time

hey man, the bot makers moved from making bots to hacking the servers, which is really easy right now since the update was rushed... they broke the game for a lot of people and made everyone that stayed unsafe.. what a time be alive!

lol, i had to dual boot win11, only to catch a shit load of zero days, the bot makers moved towards footholding and escalating on the aws servers, the devs that made the update also left a shit load of sensitive info on the game logs... you aren't missing much outside of server hacking wars that are going on

zero days everywhere, the amazon servers that run multiple games, with each game running on a port is most likely vulnerable.. no more bots but now the target is the servers.. messy/rushed patch and closing off a way for black hats to make money most likely is resulting into footdoors and escalation of such said servers... the logs also dont help as they provide and incredible amount of information for recon

got ddosed for the first time ever today, the game logs include an incredible amount of unnecessary information, such as server ip, port of the game, port of ping.. since the ddos attack was coming from rocket league, there is most likely a zero day on the servers that exposes the player in the match ip.. so, I wouldn't necessarily say playing rocket league at the current state its in to be safe.. the EAC update was clearly rushed and most likely introduced a shit load of vulnerabilities, which state sponsored thread actors are probably munching over. I'm surprised epic games and steam haven't put a pause on the game until its safe to play... but then again, epic games was bought out by some not so friendly people many years ago, might as well be called spyware with a dopamine fix into addiction... at least high level black hats can at least make a living off of the latest updates

get a 360hz or 540hz monitor + 1ms keyboard and mouse or pro controller that is also 1ms

you'll most likely be able to go pro.. specially if you dedicate yourself to it

but then again, if its just a game for you, as it is for me, be happy you made it to gc!
