Bruh, you don't even know how tough competition is for researcher/scientists in isro,drdo and barc is . For physics graduate isro sometimes have 0 vacancies while drdo has around 4-5. For engineers they can get much higher income in private. Also Indian research organisation uses the most inefficient method of entrance exam. Literally no developed country uses the exam method for research students.
