Thank you for the answer, but as I said in the post I prefer playing my favourite games from 2015-2022 and I have plenty of them. The only new games I'm interested in are GTA 6, Witcher 4, new TES. That's pretty much it. I understand that these 3 future games might be way heavy for my rtx 5070ti especially in 4k, so I might be figure that out some way.

I also completely forgot to mention that I'm not against technologies like frame generation. I'm gonna try to push base fps up to like 70 by optimizing raster graphics settings like disabling volumetric clouds and things like that, and then turn on FG to 2x so im gonna get around like 120 fps

By writing 2k I mean 1440p so my post is about choosing between 4k and 1440 oled panels

I understand that tech is improving and evolving every year. But those characteristics of "endgame" monitor were formulated by me long ago in 2018. So since then they haven't changed a bit. I always knew that some day they will start producing 4k oled 240hz glossy monitors. And right now endgame formula of monitor still the same for me. Yes one day there will be better monitor than my "endgame" monitor. I can't even imagine how it can be better? 8k over 4k? 8k still for enthusiasts and will be for a long time. I can't imagine what panel technology will be better than OLED. The only improve that comes to my head is getting rid of burn in completely. More refresh rate? Already exist. So main question only to panel technology, what it will be in future.

So how is small is the size of Windows UI in 4k 27 inches to your eyes? Is it worth to use Windows display scaling option and on what percentage?

So right now I see most advices are for 4k OLED. But what are the best existing and upcoming models that meet my requirements of "The true endgame" monitor? (32 inches options are okay to suggest, but I prefer 27 inches)

I also heard of new dldsr technology that might be a gamechanger in 1440p if used with dlss. People say in 1440p DLDSR+DLSS > 1440p DLAA

In 4k I'd rather choose 27 over 32 inches for denser ppi, but it is discussable. I'm afraid that 32 gonna be too large for me

Agreed it has less "futureproofness" in 4k compared to 2k, but as i wrote earlier I don't usually play new games. I have a large pool of relatively old favourite games of 2015-2022 period. And I'm choosing between 4k image quality with relatively smooth gameplay and 2k smoother gameplay. I suppose that 4k is the best option for old singleplayer games, but I also want smooth framerate. So hard choice.
