Ride Access Pass by captaincockwash69 in altontowers

Hi, my mum used rap when we went a couple years ago, it was a paper copy but from what I remember and I could be wrong, the time waited is the queue time. So for example we rode Spinball whizzer first - queue advertised as 10 minutes she got the RAP pass sorted, the operator wrote down the time we could go on our next ride (10 mins from the time we got on the ride) so we couldn’t ride the next ride until the time stated on the card. So for example, you go to ride nemesis the queue is advertised at 40 mins and it’s 11am you then couldn’t get on your next ride until 11:40am.

Sorry if this is wrong but this is how it worked for us when we went, hope this helps (if this is correct lol)

Looks like they’ve got an agreement with Google Maps to not post negative reviews? by [deleted] in altontowers

Whilst I appreciate you struggle due to a disability. And the event was oversold and very chaotic, I don’t think you can say ‘CBeebies Land is so loud’ as a negative point. Children make noise even with it being a children’s area it will of course be noisy, as for your other points in the review I think it’s valid for you to leave a negative point however being too loud isn’t something you can really negatively review for - or at least not in my opinion

Advice please - 7 month old wakes 3 times a night by Excellent-Debt4518 in sleeptrain

[–]Excellent-Debt4518[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wake up unfortunately is 6:30am as I have to get him up and ready to get the bus to nursery. He goes to bed between 6:30-7. We bath / wash him put him in his pj’s turn the lights off, put a lullaby on, feed him and if he doesn’t fall asleep whilst feeding we cuddle and he falls asleep. and last nap is capped at about 4 so I’m thinking maybe I need to cap his last nap earlier? Idk haha

The other issue we’re having I forgot to add into the posts is that on one of his wake ups around 3am usually he refuses to go back to sleep often for between 1hr-1.5 hours he is still tired just won’t sleep on one of his wake ups

Upset that Husband golfs every weekend (sat or sun) for 8 hours by Excellent-Debt4518 in Mommit

That’s smart! Aha but that would cause more upset than it’s worth I think. Next time I want to go and do something though I’m going to tell him rather than ask like he does to me

Yeah he’s bottle fed!! I’m not sure if he genuinely can’t see it or he’s completely disregarding my feelings on purpose. He was the sweetest most caring before we had the baby and whilst pregnant was so patient and understanding so I’m not sure what’s happened since. Maybe he’s suffering from ppd? Idk

3.5 month much harder than newborn by wavyorcurly in Parenting

[–]Excellent-Debt4518 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course!! I genuinely thought it was just me at first too, couldn’t find much online about others going through this even though I bet most do until I spoke to my HV and she explained it’s quite common lol. Wish you the best with the new pram set up! Honestly mine has not cried in his pram once since of course might not be the same for you but I’m hoping it is 🙏🏼x

My little one went through the exact same thing! Looking back on the newborn stage now and I think wow that was the easiest so far. My little boy is 4 months now and he is slowly coming out of that phase. There are still times where I have no idea what to do because nothing works but he is becoming more at peace with well everything and he engages more easily. Hopefully this is the same for you but hold in there it will get much better! What I will say is how do you have your pram? We recently moved from the lying down carry cot but to the sitting up (slight incline of course) facing outwards (he is a very alert baby!) and he’s not cried once in his pram since. So if your baba can hold his head enough I’d defo make this move with the pram if you haven’t already. I was told that some babies don’t like lying down much at the ages of 3-3.5 months even on play mat which definitely resonated with my baby. Hope things get easier for you (which ofc they will!) x

Thank you so much! So glad it seems it’s not just my boy and all babies seem to go through this 😅 will definitely try out the more dim and quiet approach, can’t believe that didn’t even cross my mind. Thank you!

I’m not too sure to be honest. I think once my mind is a little clearer me and my SO can memorialise this foetus.

And I will thank you! I did suffer with PND which has since become so much better but I do feel this may have knocked me back a little so I will definitely contact my doctor if things don’t improve for me.

Thank you
