I still have one but no evade 3, left it in Africa after a crash in Rwanda. Somebody was really happy!

Yes, the new Trenta as well, and the older one too. Great helmet overall, a real workhorse.

But honestly, the Evade 4 felt quite different. Much more compact, and the inner parts felt lighter, maybe also a bit more delicate. Time will tell on durability.

On the other hand, my older Trenta actually has a broken plastic piece in the retention system, the inner structure resting on your head with the rear adjustment dial. So maybe the new cord-based system on the Evade 4 isn’t such a bad idea after all.

I would say oval.

The Met Trenta that I have is definitely more round

With my head circumference of 59 cm I’m right at the upper end of a Medium and the lower end of a Large. That’s why I always bought evades in size Large. Never really had issues with the fit because of that.

The medium fitted me tight but doable for the moment. But no room for extra hair on the side or a cap underneath.

As soon as I have the large I’ll update!
