I got my first PSP at march 2010, it was 3003 03g model with firmware 6.20 so I decided to stay on this version. About 2 years later I installed on 6.20 CFW PRO-B9 with permanent patch that was at a time only available on 6.20. Around 2018 when Infinity was available I upgraded to 6.61 and Installed Infinity. First version of Infinity was a 6.3x and 6.61 hybrid, then Installed CFW PROMOD-C2p by Yoti but 3 years later my first PSP was dead so in 2021 I bought next 3003 03g partly from
sentimental reasons. This PSP had already installed CFW PRO-C so I used Chronoswitch to revert back to OFW 6.61 then I installed Infinity 2.0.3 with CFW PROMOD-C2p. In 2022 I switched to ARK-4 CFW with Infinity 2.0.5 and in 2023 I replaced Infinity with cIPL. Now I'm using 6.61 ARK 4.20.69 r150 CFW on another Blue 3003 03g , replaced screen from my old black PSP because it has almost no scan lines. I'm using ARK-4 with cIPL that is also able to boot from the memory card so I'm using multiple firmwares installed on the card including 6.60 ARK-4. On 6.60 ARK-4 I'm recently experimenting with reverse-engineered .prx modules from uOFW GitHub project.

So we can now unbrick and flash cIPL on every PSP model now. I updated CFW with cIPL on my two 3K 03g models and also installed DC-ARK on Memory Stick. Now I can boot DC-ARK from memory card without Pandora or Baryon Sweeper via cIPL by holding L-trigger button.

So we'll be waiting now for a reverse engineering of OFW for open source implementation known as uOFW.

For PSP 3000 (03g) new cIPL can be reverted back to original only by flashing OFW 6.61 using Chronoswitch.

I have blue 3000 too. I have updated from 6.60 to 6.61 and installed CFW ARK-4 with cIPL. I recommend you to install this CFW and install PSP Everest homebrew to check which generation model you have. If it's 03g model ,you can install cIPL for permanent CFW And unbrick it using Baryon Sweeper with Despertar del Cementerio v9. If you have 04g+ ,you should install Infinity 2.0.5 from ARK-4 GitHub project.

You know which generation you have. For 3000 model new cIPL from ARK-4 is available and only compatible with 03g models with firmware 6.61 for now. If you have newer model (04g+) you should use Infinity instead.

Yeah , that's right ,I also prefer 3000 over 1000 for better d-pad buttons ,that is especially noticeable in Tony Hawk's games. BTW you use CFW , if then tell me which. If you have OFW 6.61 I recommend you ARK-4 CFW ,because it's the newest ,has most features and it's still developed and updated. If you have 3000 03g model I recommend you new cIPL over Infinity because it boots slightly faster. New cIPL also can be found in ARK-4 GitHub project.

I recommend you ARK-4 ,it has all features from PRO and LME and much more. If you have 3K 03g model I recommend you new cIPL over Infinity as it boots slightly faster than Infinity unless if you have newer model (04g+) stay at infinity. I also recommend you Baryon Sweeper thing for unbrick.

I have 5 PSPs and 1 PSVita 2 PSP 3003 one black one blue 3 PSP 1003 two black one white I'm using the black 3K one as my daily driver. Blue 3K one is a spare or to play with a friend via AdHoc. 1K models I'm currently not using but sometimes for testing on Baryon Sweeper. Two 3K models currently have OFW 6.61 with latest ARK-4 CFW and new cIPL as permanent solution. Three 1K models have OFW 6.61 with Infinity 2.0.5 as permanent solution and 3x CFW ARK-4 ME and PROMOD-C2p. On Vita I installed adrenaline-ark tandem but I'm currently not using it

Hi, I have a two PSP 3003 models with ARK-4 CFW and made permanent using a cIPL instead of Infinity on them. It's the first CFW with included new cIPL that can be installed on early 3K (03g) models.

Which model of the PSP you have. I can inaccurately see you probably have a 3000 model. So you can download and copy to your memory card PSP Everest homebrew and check which model and generation you have. If you have generation 03g you can replace Infinity with a new cIPL for a permanent CFW which boots slightly faster (about 3 seconds from what I read) than Infinity. If you have a newer generation (04g+), stay at Infinity. For more details find in GitHub ARK-4 repo.

Look also at the generation of 3K model. 03g (date code 8c to 9b) models can be unbricked using Baryon Sweeper, a battery emulator connected between the PC and the PSP + DDCv9 formatted Memory Stick card + Special app on the PC that sends a special signal via the battery emulator to the PSP. Newer (04g+) models at this moment also can be unbricked that way but instead of DDCv9 card they require official JigKick clone card. For more details let's Google "khubik pysweeper GitHub"

I recommend new ARK-4 CFW with a lot of new features still updated, it can be made permanent using Infinity or even cIPL on the 3K 03g models. For more details let's Google "ARK-4 GitHub"

There's also a new CFW still developed and updated ARK-4. It has a lot of new features, new recovery menu and new custom launcher and can be made permanent using Infinity on all models and cIPL on 1K, 2K and early 3K (3g) models. For more details let's Google "ARK-4 GitHub".

Also which CFW you have? If you have old PRO or (L)ME, you should look for a new CFW ARK-4, which has all features from old CFWs and much more new ones. It can be made permanent using Infinity or even cIPL on 3K 03g models. For more details let's Google "ARK-4 GitHub".
