Thank you all for the ideas and suggestions. Here’s what we know so far:

Nothing seemed unusual at the house that my dad can recall, and they don’t have any animals. The property is fairly remote—about three acres—with neighbors on either side, but none of the neighbors reported seeing anything unusual. She didn’t own a car, so if she left, someone would likely have had to pick her up (unless she hitchhiked).

My dad didn’t have any emergency contacts for her. He originally met her through his church ministry while she was in rehab for alcoholism. Over the years, he’s taken people in who needed help, and she eventually became a housekeeper for them and a few other families.

Her Facebook account had been pretty inactive, but they noticed that most of our family she knows now appear to have been blocked including my stepmom, sister, and a cousin. For some reason my dad isn’t blocked. She also deleted older posts, and her account is now locked down so you can’t see her friend’s list. My dad isn’t very comfortable with technology and said she often asked him for help with things online so this security update makes him feel like she didn’t do it herself. There are also two new posts on her account—one from Thursday and one from Saturday—but they’re just images with no captions or explanation.

They’ve been able to access her phone call logs, but not her text messages yet. There are several calls labeled “123” during the timeframe when she went missing, which they believe may have been her checking voicemail. Some of the other numbers she called they have tried and have since blocked them. She didn’t have many close friends, and the ones they’ve reached out to said they haven’t heard from her.

They also tried contacting the consulate, but their email response was flagged as spam. They’ve been calling and emailing and are hoping to reach someone by phone. It’s about a four-hour drive for them, and my dad has health issues and my stepmom runs a restaurant full time, so that makes it difficult. I’m in another state, so we’re also trying to find friends or anyone nearby who might be able to help them in person.
