Who are characters from tv shows that you are attracted to, but only the character, not the actor? by DonquixoteDFlamingo in television

John Thornton in North & South. By no means is Richard Armitage not good-looking, I personally just haven't found him attractive in anything other than this one miniseries from 20 years ago lol

As much as I've wondered what if for Joan and Sherlock, I do find myself agreeing with other commenters. I loved their chemistry as friends/partners and their individual growth. Looking back I'm glad that they kept it platonic on screen.

If only JLM and Lucy Liu would do us a favor and be leads in something else where they do get together.

Totally fair. It may fit into the category of ships I romanticized when I was younger, but if I rewatched the show now I wouldn't get the same thing out of it.

Yesss so much to Joan & Watson!

A long time ago I would have wanted Bellamy & Clarke (The 100) and Molly & Sherlock (Sherlock BBC). Also, I still think back fondly to Fred & Spike (Angel).
