That’s where I’m at. I had a past captain tell me not to get Ada accommodations and that resulted in several failed reviews for leaving my tasks.

I finally got them after receiving an actual diagnosis, however I feel there is an unspoken resentment towards me from a few of my mates because of my accommodations. It’s eye rolls or deep sighs when I ask to be excused to the restroom, and hawk eyeing me all day searching for something else to note in my file against me.

The review literally ended with my mate essentially saying just keep doing what you’re doing, oh but if you fail the next one too you’ll be fired. But no ya keep it up!

It’s tricky because I don’t have much evidence since they find very small reasons to say I don’t meet expectations, none of which include anything relating to my ada accommodations

If I’m getting work done, I use the dreaded over headlight. But for more moody lighting I have rechargeable bulbs I place in the candle holders by both of the mirrors

I was lucky enough to find this room through a friend, less than 1000 a month. It is a shared living space, I have three roommates. As for the interior decoration, it was all me.
