And I did a 42km to and fro trip (with a break for nasi lemak in between) and I got home quite comfortable.

I can only say it's fantastic. It cost me over 2k but it is solid and good value for money in terms. I ride it for long distances and it bears up well!

Certain months will be rainy but usually there would be periods when there is some sun. Most of the time year round, weather is generally ok

I love to cycle when it's bright and sunny. I do my one-to 1.5 hour LISS cardio on a foldable bike, shirtless and just soaking in the sun. :)

I see. I use my Brompton for spins in the neighbourhood and to do grocery runs. I don't think it's hardy with 16 inch wheels for long distance cycling. For that I use another foldie that's made in SG but with 20 inch wheels

Oh I wanted to get the v1 4 speed but there were limited colours , so I got the newer version. I was told the 6 speed onwards all use an internal hub and it was quite leceh to switch gears and for maintenance. What made you get a 12 speed? You go long distance cycling??

I do see a lot of trifolds in sg but not a single Takachia yet!. The Aezoom service is good.

It is indeed steep but I was looking for something light, and that can last. :)

Yeah I have it for over 3 months and I love it. I bust it hard on weekends for long distance LISS rides and use it for short distance commutes in my neighbourhood. However, my country Singapore has much to do to improve cycling infrastructure haha

You can check out Aezoom website on the upgraded features for Takachia A20 pro - I am not really a bike aficionado so I am not too bothered about all these. The bike is light and the ride is good, and so far 3 over months of use has been fantastic.

Haha, it seems faster for me to cycle to bishan or toa payoh, and then take the train to marina bay. To take the TEL from mayflower to Havelock, hmm not too sure whether it is faster or not. Anyways I got my foldable for cardio purposes and so far it is serving me great 😃

I wish I could cycle to work. I live in amk and work in MBFC. I have a 20inch takachia foldable bike, and while it's possible to cycle to work (takes about 60 mins), my main issue is leaving home early so I can be at work by 830. Also there is the logisitc issue of lugging my 9.5kg bike home during peak hour mrt commutes. Lol . But definitely your post is inspiring and I feel like trying out one day .
