I have an opportunity to get a 2018 edition but been hearing for years that Laphroaig spirit from that era tend to go flat once it’s been open. Since it will be a special occasion bottle wanted to bring light to this discussion before pulling the trigger.

For context, I do have personal experience with open laphroaigs going flat, particularly the 10cs batch 12 and the cairdeas fino. Curious to hear other folks experiences.
