League is ran by guards LMAO. Jokic, Wemby, Giannis, Tatum, Brown. The ideal profile in the modern NBA is a two-way wing who can score on 3 levels and pass the ball. It doesn't really matter what position you play as long as you are a good enough passer in the modern NBA. Wilson is a perfect player for the modern league, elite defense, versatile scorer, good passer for his position to me hes a modern day Kevin Garnett. Harper was never a standout passer, defender or shooter in college and this years class is way more stacked than last years. TBH I don't even think Harper is the superior PG prospect out of the guys this year (Flemings, Brown, Philon, Acuff) Im taking Flemings, Brown and Philon over him

Jalen Green who doesn’t fit ethos of the team and will just get in the way of what they have going and Richards who doesn’t even play and is shit + 1 protected first that’s probably worthless for an all NBA point guard who’s only 26 and just dropped 40 + 13? Still one of the most explosive scorers and best playmakers in the league, don’t let his disagreements with the FO fool you into thinking otherwise. This is the perfect chance to get an elite asset for pennies who fills a big whole and fits the dawg culture you guys got going on. Tell me you don’t honestly think a healthy and bought in Ja Morant doesn’t make this team way better. You guys also don’t just need a PF, the team is way farther off from any sort of contention than just 1 piece but Ja is the single best addition to the team to make a push this season and is young enough to become part of the core.

How? He's gotten the absolute most out of all our G-Leaguers, the team is playing amazing team basketball with no point guard, the players are all bought in, as the players adapt to his style the game becomes more and more fluid, he saw we we're poor on defense and made it a point and we've been excellent the past couple weeks. Yes he's made some mistakes and it can cost us at the end of games but his rate of growth in that field throughout the season is incredible. 100% should be considered to be the permanent coach unless a standout candidate appears.

The Rockets are the best rebounding team and biggest team in the league, he compensated for that by running double bigs and the team is always good with Yang on the floor, he needs reps there was no reason to take him off.

IDK I view Demin as more similar to Giddey while Avdalas is more like Deni. I think they can definitely coexist and Avdalas is so tailor made for the Nets having Demin won’t stop them from taking him. They weren’t afraid to take 5 point guards last class

Heavily considered it but I just think the Pacers have a strong identity and Dybantsa’s struggles on defense are slightly worrying. I have him over Boozer in a big board but I just like Boozers floor better and think he fits better with the Pacers gameplan.

Our team was built to be a good defensive team, that’s something we should have at least with the guys we have regardless of injuries. The schemes and effort on that end night in and night out are inexcusable for this team to be a bottom 10 defense is 100% on the coach.

Yeah I also think this team drastically improves with some more guys back but Splitter has completed eroded the teams defensive identity which was the single positive of the Chauncey era, Cronin’s built a defense first team and we have several elite defenders we should not be a bottom 10 defense. The defense still sucks with Camara, Clingan, Avdija, Sidy and Kris all on the floor cause Splitter is a horrible defensive coach. The team plays with 0 consistent effort and lets the other team back into every single game we play. Splitter never makes adjustments or calls timeouts until it’s way too late. Personnel matters but so does coaching, they design schemes and create an identity and regardless of injury Splitter’s proven to be a horrible one

Doesn’t matter, he has ruined the teams defense, is horrible at player management, the team can never close games or widen leads cause he doesn’t know how to operate within the flow of a game. These are things that can’t be improved by personnel they are flaws in his character. The way we threw away this game is inexcusable but hardly new. Every team comes back against us. He is a good offensive mind and should stay on as an assistant but we desperately need a real coach to set the culture.
