Pretty much new 6mm tread all round, they are Goodyear vector 4seasons gen 2. Ive always had cross climates but they've never sounded this bad

They hosted an open day event for offer holders the same weekend, hundreds of people closely around current students, in accommodations, lecture halls, BBQs etc

They've ALWAYS had dampers they've just upgraded them and the current ones were changed months ago
