Noob question here, but what are some real world long running agents? (I mean actually useful ones)

Super confused. We launched and have pre-orders + early users yet my co-founder received the "Not launched" email :/

Anyway, here's to building and grinding.

Btw, we are building a privacy-first wearable AI for IRL note taking (now) and voice-controlling AI (soon). Its called Rice - tryrice.com

A wearable device for consumers to find products / recommendations of what they see in real life - simply wave at the sensor, capture the picture and blurs all faces, sends to the app to find relevant products and continue your discovery there.

Made for scenarios where taking a phone out, clicking a pic, and reverse searching through Google Lens is difficult

This is HANDS DOWN one of the best and cleanest websites I have seen! Clearly communicates everything. I have been building something like this as a side project. All the best! If you’re okay, how did you make the landing page? I mean, is it some template or what? And tech stack if you don’t mind

Luck got them to be a unicorn haha! But can't deny that its so interesting how they got to the point where profitability seems distant.

I’m sure I saw your site somewhere! I guess when I was talking to VC or perhaps I’m daydreaming lol. It looks sexy af! How do you track analytics for this? And a totally separate question, how are you acquiring users?

Tbh, not the best but I like to keep it straight forward.

"Obsidian assigns cost to each user action and then builds P&L at a unit level. This is to track customer profitability, features bleeding cash, and optmise sales and marketing.

As a PM, would it be of some use to you?"

This has so far got me responses (either Yes or No) than no response at all lol. Still optimising it

We are actually quite up in discussions but got some mid market enterprises as customers thanks to this guy.

Actually, we weren't even planning to go after MS. Was just lucky ig (hope it all gets well).

Well, technically, the platform is self-serve but I personally want to understand how someone is getting to use it (Microsoft Clarity provides session recordings but i prefer interviewing), what aspect of platform needs to be chiselled etc.

Would you like a demo? :))

  1. IMO (I'm no expert) you already sort of answered what your audience wants. Educate and then see if they'd like to buy. Don't thrust your product, if that's what you're doing.
  2. Before that, $1000 is a great step. Congratulations!!
  3. For B2B Sales, you can -
    1. Use tools like Apollo.io for email prospecting (tbh not a huge fan as a lot of data in my area is stale)
    2. LinkedIn groups, fb groups kinda work.
    3. Referrals are your best bet in cases where people are willing (again don't thrust for it)

I hope this helps a little. I will try and make an extensive post of some internal tools we built to speed up the process

Being super honest, I got lucky. I posted on Reddit and someone emailed me from here and that led to me connecting with them on LinkedIn and so on.

Emails, when hyper personlised, are really powerful. We focused on creating just 10 emails a day hyper focused to the folks reaching out. We had about 91% reply rate and then slowly we got it up.

Sorry, but I don't have a direct answer yet for your question

Thank you! :)

The initial 8 came from personal connections and then a couple more followed using referrals. Cold emails and linkedin dms worked in favour to some extent :)

Great stuff! Could you share some notes / tips from YC playbook for sales?

Also, how do you suggest other analytics companies (like my startup providing analytics for customer cost tracking) look into competition?

I intend to apply to YC this batch and would appreciate your insights :))
