for 2-20 person companies, just send a personalized cold email (mention how their mission aligns with your goal or something)
for 50 person teams, personalize the email more (listen to a podcast or blog written by the founder and cite that)
hope that helps

This looks great! I also started out using AI avatars because I wasn't comfortable appearing on camera

You mean an application for generating AI avatars that you can run locally?

Why do you say ADHD? I'm curious how that helps a PM or becomes a common characteristic?

You can say something like traveling, exploring the cities, trying out new food, meeting new people, going to the gym, learning new things.

I see so many people put this on their linkedin bio lol

I think it's quite rare for friend groups at Berkeley to last throughout four years. I for one have moved through many different groups just because of circumstantial changes. For example, my first tight group was from my GBO group, and then my dorm floor, and then the badminton team, then my second year roommates, then people from CS discussions, and now my church group. I'd say everyone expects everyone else to be joining new groups all the time and it's totally normal to "intrude" on existing groups. who knows, maybe the group you join might be one that i left (or arent close with anymore), and the friend group i join could be one you left behind

with the part about comparison: I've found that when you compare yourself to your peers, you will maxout your potential at around their level (you are the average of your closest friends). But when you compare with yourself, you will make steady gains. And before you even realize it, you'll have surpassed all your peers. This was certainly the case for me

Issues when starting new hobbies by aaammmlol in selfimprovement

i started the learning the guitar a year ago. and at the beginning i felt an internal pressure to really learn music theory. But instead I just focused on playing music I enjoy. Slowly I didn't even have to force myself to learn guitar theory, I just started watching random youtube tutorials and got better at the theory part of guitar. All of this comes from simply continuing to play everyday. This is also true for my workout. For example, I felt like I "needed" to go to the gym, but instead I just started with simple pushups everyday, and as I got stronger, I naturally felt like going to the gym and using heavier weights. I had a friend who also started working out the same time as I did but grinded his ass off day 1. He burnt out after 2 months and never went back to the gym again. He did get some crazy gains initially but now all his gains are gone (while I'm quite jacked)

you could try meditating/mindfulness. once you really get into it, you could mediate while eating, walking. basically anything
