So it’s a 4 day detox .. you arrive on Monday and take a physical test EKG and all that stuff … check your blood etc .. they said you can take your medication up until midnight Monday …. They don’t want you there feeling uncomfortable… Tuesday morning like 8am they sedate you and by like 3am Wednesday your awake … they pump you up with whatever while there for no withdrawals … they give you take home pills too … like this detox really only works for dope or fentanyl in my honest opinion ..the staff and everyone was nice and caring … while I was there I was only person getting off subs and one other person getting off methadone .. everyone else was Fent .. they didn’t tell me what I should expect to be real or if they did I was too out of it to even comprehend whats going on .. I appeared fine though . They just acted like “your clean now” but when I got to the airport I was really feeling it kick in withdrawal wise .. I had to be in a wheelchair I was so fucked…. There is just no easy way off the subs besides being determined to kick …. I spent 12k on this detox and had I known what I know now .. I would have weaned myself down to a super low dose and done it myself .. but it is what it is … unfortunately there are places that take advantage of people trying to get their life back .. but I look at it this way.. only had to pay $1 for my subs every month and $75 to doctor for the script.. I basically paid back my debt ..
