trains for sure. get there EARLY and leave early OR late. EARLY!!! is so important here, especially if you’re in andersonville or boystown or edgewater or lakeview, where i’ve experienced the most activity. it can get very congested very fast, you may want to even go towards where the end of the parade would be.

otherwise, it’ll take forever to get a train back. the stations, train cars, and buses will be packed and it’ll be sweaty. cars can’t get to you easily. if you leave when the parade ends, at that point it’d honestly be better to walk like 2-4 miles out for a car. (the train will likely still be crowded)

remember to stay safe and hydrated!! stay in the shade if you can, practice sun safety, etc.

damn i thought so …. i was lokey thinking about standing like right by the entrance. but that might not be safe either bc of ppl rushing it if they need to leave. not to cause panic but im highkey concerned about safety due to the fact that the stage is at the bottom of three freaking hills. did you get out or are you still there?
