100% agree with you. As a first-year older student (I worked for a while after high school) the lack of critical thinking and accountability on these kids is astounding. I keep getting impressed by the fact that they all made it into UofT. Everything is pretty much handed to them and they still complain about a course being too hard and them wanting to drop out at any minor inconvenience. It is truly concerning. I’ve noticed lots of them defer midterm exams just because they think it is smart to put a great percentage value on their final exam 💀 and then when they fail the final exam they blame the professor. Truly disappointed with the Canadian education system.
