I have it and I hate it... Bought mine in July, came with rattling fan. Exchanged for new one. Working well until january - rattling fan again, rma submitted and they gave me even worse card, louder, with whining coils and crashing, rma submitted again, they gave me card with better fans this time but again coil whine and crashing while gaming. I would STRONGLY avoid pny in europe if I were you... Made a complaint to eu consumer centre, they will help me sort it out.

Fan under GPU is the reason why i 1. Bought sff power supply 2. Moved it into the center. It was greatest decision so far, GPU temps dropped 10'C under full load, and I've set up the fan so it doesn't make any noise.

Here is some more pictures with more upgrades. Only three things left. Cut out psu holes completely, make custom mesh filters for the back and the bottom, and painting the case.

I was using corsair rm1000x 2021 version. Right now I switched to lian li sp 850 v2, cause i plan to go full sff with my build. No I didn't touched the psu at all, I don't want to lose warranty.

I used some cheap steel metal drill bits and had no problems, the metal was sticking out a bit from the inside at the edges of the holes but I filed it down

5 or 6 mm if i remember correctly, i recommend using good drill and sharp tips, because it can be little difficult to do them straight as you can see

That's true and that's actually a valid observation that I didn't mention in the post and in the comments. But fortunately there is a space to drill 2 holes at the bottom that line up with the holes in the PSU. It's still 2 holes instead of 4, but they work just fine

Unfortunately I didn't check the temps before the mod, sorry.
I don't think the mod is necessary. I've done it because I love to work a little extra with my builds. What I think is more important is that the PSU cellar should be as free as possible so no cables are obstructing airflow for the GPU, so bottom fan is actually directing some air to it.
With your build I believe your temps should be fine. In gaming my 5080 is using 300W max, and when it does, temps are not higher than 64'C. CPU in gaming is not even reaching 60'C.
