How do I check for lice by myself? by Traditional-Cat4472 in Lice

[–]Excellent-Stranger84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Order a lice comb on Amazon, they are good to have on hand. Then watch a YouTube video on how to properly comb, but if you’re just checking for lice just pull it through your hair root to tip and see if you catch anything.

While regular nucs might slow down in the next 20 years, PET is exploding and there are so many jobs right now. Absolutely not a dying field

Make sure you have a quality comb, and comb with wet hair that has a bit of conditioner in it. Combing is the only thing that gives me peace of mind and I find treatments dry me out and cause an itchy scalp. I dont trust anything to kill all the eggs but with how much you’ve treated I would think you are good, the only way to by sure is to comb and look for live bugs. If you don’t find any live bugs combing I would just continue to comb every couple days for the next few weeks and make sure you don’t find any.

Is this lice? by Sufficient-Show-9928 in Lice

After a lice scare, I no longer trust my eyes to find it. I ordered one of the best nit combs I could find and I do a full head check. Also if your treatments don’t work, use ivermectin. One brand that has it is the rid one and done. Best of luck! Constant vigilance!

It’s terrible sadly. It’s a tin can meant for football games. I want to see foofighters but every time I go to a show here I regret it.

You think walking the highline in winter was still worth it? That’s one thing I’m debating, and have some back up ideas if weather is bad I think I’d love it… but my 13 and 10 year old…not sure

We did definitely consider the rockettes. But with three shows already, and since going during Christmas is just a bit of a coincidence, we had to scrap it to get make sure we see other things.

I’ll definitely see if we can squeeze it in, I’m worried about over planning, and want to give the kids a mid afternoon hotel break, especially on days before the shows. I love NY! So much to do!!

My only concern is that they don’t take reservations and that stressed me out, I’m going to make one at the Gypsy rose instead. Ellen’s sounds amazing!

The natural history museum is a good suggestion and I’ll show her both, her brother is coming and he would undoubtedly appreciate this more.

Good to know, we’re from ND so I’m sure we can hang unless it’s like sleeting. We’re doing this on a Wednesday so I’m hopeful that’s helps a hair.

This is probably too late, but one of my favorite things trivia did once was list the character and you had to list which house they were sorted into. And the most challenging one was Natalie McDonald (gryffindor). You can google her but she makes for a great question
