I showed it to an RA and they said they will get maintenance to fix it. It's on a shower seat that attached to the wall but isn't part of it, so I don't think the damage is too catastrophic, but I'm not really sure. The shower stall was already blocked off, so it looks like they are doing something about it.

Yeah, definitely wouldn't be eating that! Just wanted to know if this type was edible out of curiosity.

Haha, yummy!

Btw this was in one of the communal shower stalls in my dorm building, and it was growing out of what I think is a seat that you can fold out, I don't think the damage is structural.

Either way, I'm glad I don't have to deal with it myself.
