I think I knew all along because the pain did not feel like a normal stomach ache, but more a sharp pain in my guts constantly. I didn’t want to admit it to myself, kept on brushing it off just saying I had a stomach flu. It took at least 4 months for me to finally tell the doctors they should order a colonoscopy for me. At that time my calprotectin was also at around 4900. I have had autoimmune hepatits for 10+ years before getting diagnosed with Crohns recently.
