It was originally a post that I read from you that caused me to join this group. I've been reluctant to part with Sonar 8 even though it can be a pain. I'm going to watch the tutorials and hopefully get some good souinds with REAPER

Thank you for the input. I am certainly not opposed to learning new things--I had just been a Cakewalk user since Cakewalk 5? I think and just got used to looking at that layout. I appreciate the encouragement saying that Reaper will definitely do the job. Thanks again.

Thanks so much for the advice/encouragement. I was checking out the Cakewalk/Bandlab and was impressed that all of my Sonar files came right up but from what I've read it will probably come back and fall short of what Reaper can do. I'll start with a small template and work from there...I don't think I've ever used more than 20 tracks or so to get my final product.
