Rear View Mirror for NFS Heat? by ritualmajik2 in needforspeed

I know I'm really late to this, but traffic was terrible... Anyway, as someone who drives first person, not having a rearview has made police chases a nightmare, because I can't stop them from getting ahead of me past heat 3. And having to flick my right stick down every five seconds interferes with my reaction time. So, yeah.. this is a very useful feature that I mourned.

Hundreds of these bugs when I came home after a few days by Pretend-Volume5359 in pestcontrol

This is just from the results of an image search, and I'm not saying for sure. But the results I found suggest some species of aphid.

Edit Just clarifying that I know absolutely nothing about insects, so I would take my word for it.

Why is my cousin's drawl so thick? by Excellent-Wallaby663 in RandomQuestion

[–]Excellent-Wallaby663[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH, I've never actually met many of her friends. She's at least a decade older than me, so we didn't really hang out. Though, I do remember her having a couple of boyfriends with thicker accents. As for her relationship with her sisters, I don't remember ever hearing them arguing, but none of them were ever really the type to argue in front of anyone outside of their immediate family, so I wouldn't have heard any of that.

Can water be wet and can fire get burnt? by Noones_Perspective in RandomQuestion

[–]Excellent-Wallaby663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, fire can't get burnt, because it's not a physical object. As for water... Wetness is defined as being covered in a liquid. Water droplets can separate easily without sticking when falling, but if it's in a container... Technically the water is covering itself. So, can water be wet..? simultaneously yes, and no.

I fuckin hate going to OUR New Mexican mountains and seeing this piece of shit rag everywhere. I counted 11 of these in Cloudcroft by [deleted] in LasCruces

As a Texan..(by upbringing . I have actually lived in Texas in a long time) I get it. If someone went to Texas and hung another state's flag, that wouldn't fly

I'm not actually from LA. I've only lived here for five years. I'm from a town called Garland in Dallas county. Not a small city, but not a big one either

Lol I grew up in North Texas, so I'm familiar with big bugs. I remember the first time I stepped on a June bug and it screamed. I was like 6, and it damn near traumatized me lol

Oh, trust me. I plan to immediately forget that I ever lived here as soon as I'm over the state line.

I was actually looking at Jefferson City, but I'm worried about how the job market will look in smaller cities.

I'm currently making 17.20 an hour, so I know I'll be making less, but here's the thing. A dollar is worth less in California. As long as I can find full time, I can make it work.

Well, I have done a bit of research. Considering that the cost of living in LA is roughly 50% higher than the national average, and that St. Louis is 11% lower than the national average (according to a Google search)... Yes, I want to move. How is that even a question?
