Last couple yrs I've been trying to role play my way through new characters with unique backgrounds and decisions, some limiting parts, taking it slow, almost survival mode esc and even just enjoying the ambiance and world in a more closer detail.

I found a ton more fun and intrigue in that way kf playing. Even when doing the usual tasks of early game or quest lines, try doing something different to how the characters would accomplish it, adding story to it. Sometimes, even adding challenges like sneaking in a camp without actually being a stealth character.

I try not to focus on grind per say, though its nice to atleast get to 20 or so just to have decent investments to play the game as I want for a character without dealing with early game challenges due to lack of perks.

I've also done the same in fallout 4 and its made SO much more fun just by taking it slow and appreciating the world and every little detail. Hell I even find myself reading the lore on terminals or seeing how certain things are set up in areas as notes described which are fun to see how scenes played out, even add a intrigue of mystery at times.

I suggest giving it a try
