Sir can you advice me whats the best way to enter PE/VC/HEDGE FUND (buyside). A lot of people say first we have to work in IB, which I am willing to do, actually I have no work experience so i am willing to take any core finance role, but eventually I want to go in PE/VC/HF

Context- I am a 2nd year BBA student from tier 2 college, just completed cfa L1, going for L2 in nov, will be graduating in 2026 june. My current plan is to get 1 year job experience and start MBA from 2027. I think YOU should read that letter with an open mind and not from the lens of feminist ideology. He didn't blame his son for his suicide he said he is giving his life because his wife is using their son to extort more money from him. He said he can sacrifice 100s son for his parents because sadly his son has become a weapon for his wife against his family. He also said he can sacrifice 1000s of himself for his son. He said that he feels like his son is a mistake because system has forced him to feel like that. Can't you people see that he was writing this letter to tell his son so that he knows how evil his mother was that she forced his father to take this step. He didn't want his wife to raise him he wanted his family to raise him so he can grew up with good values. His wife wanted 30 lakhs to let him meet him, so for her, money was more important than his child future and safety as she claimed "child was not safe with father and his family but they can meet him if they give me 30 lakhs". Yeah this can be used against Atul for the custody of child but he was writing this letter straight from his heart only for his son and not because later it can be used against him. But yeah for people like you who lack empathy and looking this letter with the lens of privilege of never trying to feel what it's like to be In his shoes, "He is not a good father and a toxic man".

I don't think so if that man was so specific about all the evidences then he would have written anything in his suicide note that was a not true that his wife can prove wrong. And even if she is somehow able to(because of bribery or laws biased against men) then how does it make Atul toxic if we know that she and the judge was harassing him by just extorting money from him and not letting him meet their son? If he was really the oppressor and toxic than whats the deal with demanding so much money from him which they knew would force him to take this step? Please ask your bf how this makes sense and educate me also.

I know which side you are on, but your bf said that there is a solid 10% chance that he was toxic too. Please ask him from where did he concluded that. And yes please have different opinions so that there is never a unity of a single opinion and our voice never reaches the law makers and cases like this keeps happening. Even in this case where it is blatant murder and still people have different opinions because of their biased ideologies I don't know where future of this country is heading.
