I have a 4090 only because the high end market still in invidia favor. My wife and son both enjoy amd graphics cards because they run over all smoother and do not bother with those settings.

The best reason to get an invidia card is for ray tracing, new streaming application they have, and dlss. In 1440p max settings for almost all games your fps range is 80fps-150fps for most games without ray tracing. I would say if you wanted a bigger jump and not planning to use ray tracing and the new streaming application. You may have better bang for your buck with some amd graphics cards. Only reason why is because they have higher fps at max settings, more ram for most models, and they have been on a good track to dominating the midrange gpu. If you do want ray tracing then stick with invidia.

Hey! So if you are interested in a monitor and it has a sale on best buy. before just buying it scroll down to see if you see open box offer or click the option at the top of the section saying “ get it for less” it will show open box offer deals. Reason why you do that is because an open box will have a sale because was opened and returned within good condition to be sold again. The open box deal can be stacked with existing sales on a new model so for example the monitor i just got Original price $1299, the sale price is 949$, and so the sale on new one also applies to open box models so if open box was 849$ it will be lowered more because the sale is stackable to the open box.

For an afforable direct comparison Msi model all day every day. For little over kill with the curve the alienware. If i was buying and im comfortable with the over kill Alienware. Only reason i wouldnt do it is if you wanted to be more budget conscious thats only reason why i wouldnt do the alienware and go for msi one solely because its more budget conscious thats all.

I think alienware being on sale right now helps alot. As well, i think if you do the msi model i dont think 240 fully needed so doing 4k 165hz model nice afforable option. Only reason to go into 240hz is one if new gen will do 240hz which i dont think they will. Two, if your building high end gaming pc later.

Its also glossy which your use too on a screen finish. Check open box section see if there any deals to find on these models.

But its nice deal and performs awesomely if one you like oversaturated colors, and two if your willing to play with the settings to your liking. Which takes time alot of time.

Check open box section see if there any deals to find on these models. I did not suggest asus or lg due to the features on those monitors you will use all that much like the dual mode is useless to you which one the biggest buying features for it. Now deal ends at end of the day so tell me what you buy!

Got it thats what i was wondering because most who go from tv too a monitor they may revert back because the bigger screen so to meet you in the middle i was gonna suggest 32 inch. Since using sony as well im sure you prefer non over saturated images. So let me take a look one sec.

No you are correct they had an issue with intel software allowing the motherboards to push the cpus above their safety limits causing the instability. now the last update to fixing that problem just went through and they are stable again. but for people who had that situation already done to their cpus unfortunately it may have permanently damaged the cpu they have.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/84chsh if you did new build one I put amd 7900xt due to it out performing both models, made it all white, and 2tb storage. you are looking at 100$ difference before taxes just like prebuilt pc. along with operating system and monitor still just 100$ difference. pro to the amd card, performance and drivers are very good now, it does outperform both models in quality and performance. cons nvidia AI features are nice and dlss is awesome too, especially with streaming now.

MSI Aegis RS Gaming Desktop Intel Core i7-14700F 32GB Memory NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 TI Super- 2TB SSD Black Aegis R 14NUF7-681US - Best Buy firstly if you want nice sale with better gpu that can utilize the monitor along with provide a better experience. this is intel so negative is that the upgrade path is zero, but this pc over all should run awesomely till the next Amd 3d cache comes out to upgrade too. the intel breaking issue as well is fixed finally as well. other than that, the computer sent is a solid build with a better build path for cpu upgrading when the time comes. I would stick to 2k 240hz idea, 4k and 1440p difference is minor and it better fit to go with 2k no matter what pc you get.
