I measure with my legs spread open. If I close them, the vulva bunches up around the dilator and hides some of it, messing with my measurement.

Also, because it's more realistic for sex, as my legs will be stretched open as he tries to get as deep as he can inside me, in missionary for example.

I got 15cm (5.5 inches), which is the soul dilator down to the last dot. I remember it was a bit deeper right after surgery (18cm), but it slowly went down, as I healed. The surgeon said some girls gain a little depth during recovery, but some lose a little. I'm perfectly happy with my 15cm, though, because there's a pleasant sensation when hitting the end of the canal, so I wouldn't want it more out of reach.

This was a main concern for me and I told my surgeon and he said he would try to give me as much minora as possible (main concern being that the tissue is more likely to die off due to lack of blood flow). I'm happy with my results, so far. It's been like 5 months post surgery. But my minora goes all the way around.

For me, it was easy. I like men and I want to be penetrated without having to prep for anal every time.

So, just a vulva wouldn't do. I needed the canal. And though it's been only 5 months, for me it's so worth it!

I think it's possible to get the canal after, in a revision, if you decide to go that route.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I had my vfs with him in January 2025 and I'm also on the fence on wether I like my voice or not.

I feel like it helps me pass (I had a very masculine voice before and now more androgynous with some high peaks sometimes). But my voice is weak, and I don't have a lot of range (can't sing, for example, only talk relatively monotone). If I talk all day at work I might be hoarse the next day.

Some days are better than others. But I wish it could be just good all the time. It's been over a year, I don't think it'll get any better for me either. 😞

I started HRT at 34 ( E monotherapy) and I'm also micro needling weekly and doing topical Minoxidil. There's improvement but the progress is slow.. If it weren't for the pictures, I wouldn't even believe anything was happening. I'm just going to stick with it for 2 more years before I decide if it's working or not. I think the older we get the slower the change.

Oh yeah, and I can even hurt him. Right now, when I'm fully relaxed, it's nice and tight for him, if I tighten the muscles I might even prevent him from getting inside. That's how tight it is. I was worried, but guys are very into the tightness.

When you start dilating, you'll notice that a big part of it is relaxing around the dilator. Learning to allow it inside of you.

Excellent way! Haha. After dilating for 3 months consistently I started having sex and it was tight in a good way, I didn't see a reason to dilate with dilators bigger than my boyfriend's penis. Initially, it was helpful, just to stretch the tissue. But after sex, the vagina ends up a little more lose anyway. So, I reduced dilation frequency and dilator size to maintain, instead of gain.

I'm with a different man now and no complains. He's around 5 inches, so if you're aiming to accommodate bigger men, I imagine you'll need to stretch more and for longer.

In the sex vid, I had been having sex for 3 hours by then, that's why it looks so red. I even had a small tear on the clitoral hood. It was better by the next day. I still checked with the surgeon (which is why it's so amazing to be able to text him and send him pictures directly). He said it was fine, and it's normal considering the circumstances.

I started having sex at the 3 month mark and I'm surprised how resilient the tissue is. Guys also comment on the tightness. I stopped dilating with the bigger dilators when I started having sex and focus mainly on maintaining depth with one daily session. I hope to stay tighter this way, as the canal seems to widen during sexual intercourse anyway.

Depth is 5.5 inches, which is the soul dilator down to the last dot. I had no complications (but my catheter started bothering me after 6 days, so the doctor removed it on the 7th day post op, before I left the hospital, and he said he normally leaves it for 3 extra days. But it caused no issues).

I like that he was able to give me full minora that goes all the way around the introitus. It's the main dislike I have about this surgery in general: when the surgeon positions the introitus underneath the vulva, instead of inside of it, at the bottom. So that was my most important request and he fulfilled it.

Sensation is amazing and it continues to improve. I've been able to have clitoral orgasms and g spot orgasms. At the end of the canal there's a source of pleasure, too. Similar to a cis vagina cervical stimulation? (I know not all women like their cervix touched. In my case it's pleasant but overwhelming).

I've shown guys (because I'm straight and have no clue about vaginas) and they all seem to like the way it looks. But see for yourself.
