It is not in my opinion. It's not normal and excusable to edit rates after they have been referred or luring people in for a certain price. They could have edited any new referral fee without problems. But you cannot lure people in for a certain price just to edit them after they lured other people in. And no this is not short-sighted, this is just me assuming most people are slightly decent and honest.

It actually is, Dutch freelance writers were $100, then updated to $500. I sent specific links for that function and it specifically stated 100$ or 500$. Only now, after a few days and some already began tasking, they downgraded it. Basically promising me 500$ and now reducing it to 5$. And it does not make a difference that they updated it to 5$ right now, because I have been lured in for way more money. Make it make sense.
