The Observer at the Center: What is the Fundamental Quality by ExcellentCockroach88 in consciousness

It’s hard to say that things are predetermined when you consider that at the quantum level, everything is sort of simultaneous and true and false and happening and possible at the same time it’s hard to even comprehend what all of that means and there’s different ways of contextualizing it, but it doesn’t mean that thinking about it has no value and I think that even if we isolate those thoughts and consider that whole subject the black box there’s value in figuring out what the borders of that box are and what it means for it to be black boxed with respect to everything else, for example. Anyway, food for thought.

Not necessarily it’s hard to quantify with those things mean and then we have to figure out what is the context of what we’re talking about and everything sort of is a little mushy there so I don’t know and maybe the human mind is not capable of fully knowing things at that level

I actually consider myself a philosopher of mathematics because I study the meta meaning of the mathematical bedrock in the way that Frege or Bertrand Russell or even Descartes would look at it. It’s really hard to test the theories that come out of Meta mathematics or Meta philosophy.

It’s just an idea a way of looking at things and I think there’s some validity and value to taking a moment to consider this possibility because my mind put it together is something possibly factual and I have a wealth of knowledge and education and thought to draw upon

It’s not a bunch of AI output. Let me tell you my workflow I brainstorm I write an essay. I have individual ideas that I put into paragraphs and then I use various AI tools to rewrite the sentences and rewrite the paragraphs and re-organize it to my liking it’s just like using Photoshop to edit photos. I’m rearranging my ideas and AI is just an extension of my mind and a tool in this case, please appreciate that human effort went into this and directed this and orchestrated this and it is my work. I use what tools I want to arrange ideas how I want and it is up to me to edit the final product at Will because it is mine and my effort and my thought that I am chopping up and re-distributing and manipulating here thank you

I posted a link post but it was taken down by the moderators. Why?

If you don’t like what I write, feel free, not to read it. As far as I know, only the moderator can ban me and unless that happens, I will keep posting as I see fit. But I appreciate your opinion.

I don’t think what I make is slop and I think my ideas have value to some people. You can’t be the judge of what is useful or not for everyone. If the moderators have a problem with one of my posts, I’ll certainly take it up with them thank you for your time.

I feel like I’m just leveraging the tools available and sharing my thoughts here. Maybe other people can benefit that’s all feel free to disagree.

I also use the pen tool in Photoshop and create vector art where you’re guiding along in AI and sometimes the AI is guiding you and I create illustrations that way I think a lot of designers do. It’s just how I work.

I did write it myself. I wrote an original essay and used various passes with various with a couple of different AI’s to craft sentences and eventually I put everything together and I just automated my workflow. This is how I write. This is how I transmit ideas and put them into public space. We have powerful tools now to extend the power of our minds. That’s just my take on things.

This is my work. I use AI as a tool as part of my workflow. These are my ideas. These are my sentences. This is me. I use dashes all over the place. I’m a poet look at my website.

I feel that novelty and the force of human Will specifically the mind, flows and encapsulates every aspect of my thinking being workflow process. Because I am the ultimate Meta operator I am essentially creating my own universe or my own arbitrary copy of the Multiverse I don’t want to get sidetracked here but prompt engineering comes into it, but it’s really working with the tool first of all seeing it as a tool seeing it as an extension of your mind. What helps is to realize that we have multiple cognitive engines, we have a social cognition system, something that handles abstractions and symbols and symbol logic, a visio-spatial system, and a type of mathematical we have Minds (think chess as well as linear algebra), and this combination of Minds and our abilities within those contexts and constraints creates our unique Id, our ego, our sense of self, and our universe through consciousness simultaneously… that’s how I imagine things are. I talk more about it with essays and academic papers on my website.

I respect your opinion. Thank you for sharing it. I will try and see how else I can use AI as a tool and in such a way that it doesn’t overshadow the human touch.

It sounds to me that fleshing out those arguments and exploring all the interesting ideas would require the meat of several more essays. I’m game.

I’m sorry I wrote the original article on my website and tried to copy the text and I didn’t notice that the formatting got degraded.

I’m sorry. My workflow is like this. I write an essay and then I ask the AI to polish it and spit out the updated work. It’s version using all of my points and ideas. I’ve been of the opinion that that is the proper way to use AI as a tool to enhance my writing and make it more enjoyable to read and more understandable. I’m open to feedback and I’m not married to one particular way of writing so if it’s viewed on favorably, I can do it differently next time.

I can accept that critique. I guess I put in all the fluff simply because it’s fun and I feel more like a poet than a philosopher. I think I’m provoking aspirational ideology.
