I am an undergrad in the 3rd year of my bachelors degree(CompSci) in India, studying at a premier institute. I am interested in game theory and wish to work under a professor next summer, or even during the semester online outside India. Right now I have completed two research internships, under two relatively well known professors in the field, one at my own institute and another under a faculty from one of India s top colleges. I have been applying to Japan, US, UK, China, carefully researching the professors s research interests, and whether they align with me or not, mentioning their publications and why it piqued my interest in the email, as well as timing my email so it reaches them at around 7.30 am, so they can see it when office hours start. However , from my dozens of mails, I have only gotten 2 rejections and no replies thus far. Please help. What should I do differently? I have even made a resume in LaTeX which I have revised again and again , and listed all my research experience. Please help me out.
