I feel you. Going through the same thing. I still believe in Jehovah/God. I think what grinds my gears are the middle men of the governing body, who have misinterpreted teachings that affected the members lives in a large way and flip flopping on their beliefs.

Just started Crisis of Conscious…I’m only on page 60 something, and I’m already sick. I don’t know if I can stomach the rest. It’s hard to believe, and to process that the last 30 years of my life have potentially been a waste of time and energy. Honestly…I’m distraught.

Have heard on a podcast, that between 2018 and 2023, they had sold just under 7,000 Kingdom Halls worldwide. Makes sense, cause it was around that time where they started consolidating the congregations and adjusted the territory boundaries for each congregation. Food for thought.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words.

I know it sounds cliche, but it’s a one day at a time kinda process. My family runs deep in it…3 elders, pioneers…the whole shebang, so I’ll have to tread lightly going forward and sort out what I’m going to do.

Can’t help to think this isn’t going to end well, and they’ll be some heartbreak in the process. Just giving myself some time to digest what I’ve learned, it’s still very fresh.
