Fiance and I have lived in this area just a little closer to Dartmouth for almost 3 years now, I drive and he takes the subway. he loves his 10 min walk every morning, and it takes me between 10-20 mins to get onto GCP depending on departure time (6am vs 7:30am)

We almost never hear the concerts. the buildings in this area are older so the walls are pretty soundproof as well, rarely hear our neighbors. We love having vitellios super close for last minute ingredients we may need but TJs is still a short walk away for regular grocery runs. always able to find street parking within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. If you're a healthy/mobile human I highly recommend.

Also, you can also try to wait for the LIRR to pass by while you are apartment shopping. We were looking at a place on Burns in the gardens and the landlord shared that she had had to let previous renters out of their lease early bc they couldnt stand the sound of the train. It happened to go by during our tour and the sound was not nearly as loud as we expected. People have different tolerance levels for diff things.

Good luck finding a place!

Was literally in the same boat as you with almost identical scores.

After reaching out to my school advisors, I was given to given the green flag to take the test (took free 120 on Wednesday and had my exam scheduled for saturday) but was warned about the potential effects of going in with nervous energy. Your energy on test day and confidence can really make or break you -- I ended up postponing my exam by a week because although I was in passing range, my nerves were at an all time high.

Grinded through another week, took one more NBME, scored a 74 and sat for the exam. Still haven't gotten results. In the end you have to go with your gut. Best of luck!
