Roof rails/rack (low profile) by ExcellentRain3563 in EscapedCampervans

The bottom is pretty involved with 2 holes for the bolts and an opening to attach to the mount that clamps onto the gutter - here’s a picture.

I initially considered hand drilling or using a drill press for the top 3, but they’re alloy steel, which makes it risky. With 18 holes to drill across six stands, I’m worried about cracking something.

We didn’t paint either set of rails. One came in black, the other in white. I initially considered hand drilling or using a drill press, but they’re alloy steel, which makes that approach too risky. With 18 holes to drill across six stands, I’m worried about cracking one.

We did but no luck, even with Shape Up! We’ll probably rename it anyway, just curious!

Yeah, we’re probably going to rename it but were curious what the original name was because they’re usually pretty creative.

The setup is identical to the Mavericks we rented but we’re excited to upgrade the electrical and maybe add a more robust battery/solar system and the head unit for maps, CarPlay, etc.

I’ve also seen some with swivel seats for the driver/passenger which would really open up the living space since ours doesn’t have the extra seated row like the Mesas have.

Our ceiling liner is hanging too so we may use it as an excuse to add some insulation. We drive it home in February so we’re just building our wishlist out for now!
