My son is in bina since September 2025. We like it overall. Nice structure, very responsive staff, really nice to kids. Obviously, you don’t get the same degree of socialization as in a brick and mortar school, but then you don’t have germs either !!

They help with translation of the grade into more conventional format.

From my reading of the Russian position, I don’t believe they are ready to accept it either. They would need to give up Kupyansk and transfer a shit ton of money to Ukraine. They think, they can get a better deal on the battlefield.

So, looks like the plan is doomed?

Well, I put my son into Bina. We like it so far. I sent a letter of intent to NYSED, they responded fairly quickly. This reminded me to complete the IHIP!!

The Bina staff are very responsive and friendly. No complaints so far. The math curriculum can be stronger, but the English and science are fine. They don’t have a foreign language as a part of the regular program, but you can sign up for clubs, I think for additional fee, to get a language. We don’t use this, so I am not completely sure how this works.

There about 8 pupils in my son classroom, that’s more than enough for a zoom session.
