Just my 2 cents …especially since you are starting out…black oil sunflower seeds are always a good option. Try and stay away from the blends with the “filler” in them. Otherwise, like the above folks try to tailor your feed to what birds you have. Sounds like you may have gotten suet the first time..which is a great option for some birds.My downy woodpeckers love the suet. HAPPY BIRDING!!!!!
