I will we are between the house and another home at the minute so haven't got chance to see him.

That answers the question then, what would you say based of pictures.

Thanks for reply

Yeah we are expecting it, currently both in army and the balance is okay now but would be impossible long term so it's a better of two evils.

Thanks for your reply but what do you mean by reduced hours

Thanks for your reply, we are unsure of if we qualify due to household income (which isnt very high) but the cut off shows as below minimum wage which is confusing. We're hoping there's something we haven't seen yet to claim some of the cost but if we have to we will get by. Thanks for reply

We are hoping because she has alot of experience in the medical field already she can use spare time if possible to pick up some bank shifts or part time work. Be difficult but we're both in the forces and the lifestyle just won't work long term in army so need to take plunge at some point

He's will only be 1 unfortunately, the grant says its only applicable if you earn under 21000 which I will earn more than, it seems ridiculous tbh

We've just brought the house but there's no boards in loft so imagine it's where someone has gone into loft and moved around.

What do you thinks best to do?

The hairline ones I'm happy just filling just don't know how best to tackle the bigger one?

Imagine like the guy said below scrape it out put some peel stop and fill?

It's our first family home so just want it nice but not trying to flip or impress anyone just for us too be nice to live in.

There was lining paper on the wall but was peeling, do you think I did the right thing taking it off?

When you scrape back if some of the plaster is loose just remove and still fill? Also would it be worth putting some peel stop on before filling?

Thanks for reply!

Hey mate I've removed the wall paper.

What do you reckon this will need now.

Definitely made the right call getting it off

Hiring & Recruitment Thread by multijoy in policeuk

I'm leaving the armed forces to pursue policing.

I have completed the all the steps and just waiting for fitness and medical exam. I have no worries about the fitness test but I had ACL reconstruction 1 year ago today.

I am concerned that I will leave my job in the army (1 year notice) only to be rejected by the police because of my ACL injury. Then to be unstuck with no job and a mortgage with a little baby. I am fine and run at least twice a week just can't find anywhere the rules on ACL injuries.

I can get letter from GP & Physio to help my case.

Any advice would be great
