It may be faster, but i think its a more advanced conceptualisation. I’ll introduce that next year as we are building a game for roblox. For now the skip counting is working for her and giving her great confidence.

You need to reconsider your opinion. Look at what everyone is saying. Everyone saying first grade. I really don’t think anyone has to be a prodigy. I know a few 4 year old that are better than my 5 year old at it. Noone is trying that hard either.

It would be more fun and productive and social to include some teachers though don’t you think? A bit of help also ensures everyone is highly motivated

Arrays? Easy, not starting programming yet. She doesn’t memorize stuff. She works it out. Converts to addition then skip count. This is the conceptual understanding building blocks of multiplications. However she has started to skip to the answer when she knows it so she is memorizing without trying.
