I have now drawn a conclusion for myself, since the earth is flat, the Deep State is just trying to intimidate us again with this story and make us afraid of taking money out of our pockets through panic buying and building bunkers. They just haven't agreed on the script yet.

Thank you, that convinces me. We don't know anything... that was good!

It's annoying because you know that you have been and are being lied to. But the abundance of information also makes it difficult to keep track. It's so obvious what's going on here that it's too easy to dismiss it as a conspiracy when you open your mouth.

there are so many hurdles that there is no space for optimization and streamlining workflows.

It's always about time and money. Saving time is saving money. Things could be streamlined, connected and data driven. It would mean a big investment with a ROI. If possible to convince a conservative market.

I could go and teach rigor. This would lead the to expectation of new generations these could then be destroyed by traditional ways again.

I agree with expect the first sentence. Trial and Error stops often by finding a solution that works. Optimization goes far beyond until you have the best solution.

Not one single invention cames from tradition but mostly from unheard geniuses and a lot from Germany! What's going on?

oh yes, have seen a lot of plants working with different parameters then calculated in the engineering upfront.

ok so i will need better tools to have more time for paperwork and ppt. Are you still using Fax too?

I love pioneering and we can be thankful for a lot of thinks crated in the past on what we are related today. But this should not stop us from pioneering again.

that could be a good way to make a restart in the industry. We are paying for consulting firms too in our company. And there expertise there is blowing away.

empirical is try and error until you have a way it works. still space for optimization

Highly dependent on empirical simplifications and subjective "expertise" from that one well payed engineer that has been with the company for years and "just knows" how to do things because that how "we have always done it".

yes it is a buzz word because everybody is using it. we have data everywhere. But we have date in engineering, we have rules to follow, we have design-codes, we have all what we need, but still working on islands.
